About Our Training 

Our training is designed for professionals concerned with safeguarding children and adults who have been or are at risk of being subject to abuse, exploitation, and trafficking. wE ALSO Our training also addresses perpetrator behaviour, risk assessment and management in relation to violence, sexual violence, intimate partner violence and domestic abuse, stalking harrassment, networked abuse and trafficking. 

Participants may come from the Social Care Sector, Criminal Justice Service, Police, Health Care and the Voluntary Sector. The courses are underpinned by the SIPPS theoretical framework which draws upon Systemic Social Work Practice, Forensic Psychology, Criminolgy and Criminal Justice Processes. 

We provide standa alone courses and modular programmes, to give participants a systemic understanding of the issues and complexity of organised, networked abuse and exploitation. Every module in a course is linked by the theoretical principles of the SIPPS model and supported by academic knowledge and professional experience from the field. This training will support practitioners in developing comprehensive assessment and investigation skills, develop safety plans and interventions, improve prosecution outcomes, and facilitate recovery and prevent re-abuse with confidence and authority. 

Our courses are designeed to blend face to face teaching with online learning and self-directed study. This allows practitioners to plan their own continuing professional developmental pathway according to their existing knowledge and experience, or their interests and needs.
